New Mitchell Park Library and Community Center
The new library and community center will be the right size for south Palo Alto, will have flexible spaces for people and programs, will be environmentally friendly, and will rationalize the traffic pattern.
Because of the passage of Measure N in 2008, the City of Palo Alto is building a new Mitchell Park Library and Community Center. Construction began in 2010 and is expected to end in 2013. New furniture, computers, and thousands of books will be provided with the money raised by the Palo Alto Library Foundation's campaign.
